About Neil Tomlinson
Trade qualified project manager focussing on commercial construction in Brisbane.

As an experienced and trade qualified construction professional, I have been involved in the sourcing, estimating and delivery of multiple projects across the commercial, retail, education, financial and healthcare industries in both Australia and the UK for some of the worlds largest principal contractors and smaller fit-out, refurbishment and shopfitting contractors.
My career has evolved organically from a qualified tradesman through to site and project management, giving me a broad spectrum of hands-on knowledge of construction methodology and best-practice on site.
I have managed projects ranging in value from $100,000 to $150,000,000 across varying contractual methods such as D&C, negotiated, cost plus, select and open competitive tender and open book, managing site teams of up to 200 staff and sub-contractors.
I am passionate about my own continued personal development as well as developing those around me and have implemented a number of initiatives across various businesses that encourages and supports continued professional development.
After developing my project management skills, I progressed into business development, identifying & securing opportunities through pro-active networking and the creation of professional and engaging tender submissions, marketing collateral and client presentations. I have also been responsible for the capture of site photography, creation of case studies, creation and distribution of newsletters, co-ordination of events and the updating and management of company websites.
